This auction is for the surprise only that is included with the Faberge Gatchina Palace Egg When the egg is opened the surprise is revealed which is a wonderfully rendered model of the Gatchina palace near of St Petersburg. The surprise has 4 feet that lock into the baseplate of the egg. This was made by the Essex Marketing Company. Essex once held the license to replicate several Fabergé pieces, working closely with Tatiana Fabergé to ensure the highest quality.
