This egg was found in an estate sale a few years ago. The box and paperwork state “Imperial Court”. The egg is a replica of the original Faberge Danish Palaces Egg. The three-panel screen depicts palaces and residences in Princess Dagmar's motherland Denmark. Maria Feodorovna was before her marriage to Alexander III in 1866, the Danish Princess Dagmar. The original panels are by the court miniaturist Konstantin Krijitski .
